The National Bank of Ukraine has opened a special fundraising account to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This decision was made immediately on February 24 in connection with the imposition of martial law in Ukraine and the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. During the first two weeks of the war, more than 11 million hryvnias were collected on this account. The funds came from citizens and businesses in Ukraine, as well as from the international community, including the United States, Britain, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, China, France, Canada and many other countries.
This account accepts multiple currencies. It has been established and opened to receive transfers from international partners and donors in both foreign currency (U.S. dollars, euros, UK pounds) and hryvnias.
